Sunscreen And Spray Tanning!
With spring break fast approaching ive been getting questions about the tan and sunscreen.
1st Your spray tan does not block the sun at all!
You still need to use a sunscreen. The tricky part will be finding a sunscreen that doesnt eat at your spray tan.
Alchohol and Oils are No No`s when looking for a sunscreen.
Ive searched and searched for the best ones to use. Most can be found on amazon.
Coola is my #1 choice
preservative free and is great for sensitive skin.
Sun Bum- Hypoallergenic, Vegan and gluten free. Great moisturizers in it as well.
Loreal Advanced Suncare Quick Dry Sheer Finish Spray- Alchohol and Oil Free, Non greasy formula!
Babyganics Baby Sunscreen- No parabens , Sulfates or Dyes and is a natural insect repellent.
EltaMD UV Sport Sunscreen Broad-Spectrum SPF 50, Water-Resistant, Oil-free, Dermatologist-Recommended Mineral-Based Zinc Oxide Formula, 7.0 oz
Jergens Natural Glow + Protect Daily Moisturizer Sunscreen SPF 20, Medium to Tan Skin Tones, 6 Ounce
( I like to use this one if i go on a cruise or a trip i know im going to be in water alot. The jergens helps keep the color fresh by gradually adding color as well as providing sunscreen)
If you absolutley cannot find any of these your safest bet will be to apply a good coat of moisturizer and then sunscreen on top. Your trying to create a barrier between the spray tan and sunscreen. Its gonna take maintenance to do it this way because you will need to keep reapplying often. At the salon we do have hempz sunscreen that we sell.
Hopefully this helps and you have a blast on your vacation!!!
